Shep and Grace.

What's slim, jet black and with beautiful eyes? "Grace Jones" aka my new Nikon D3100. Yesterday I made a purchase that I've been dying to make for quite some time now. About 4 years ago I started taking photos with my little Sony Cybershot point and shoot. I really enjoyed it but knew that eventually one day I would have to upgrade to a dslr if I wanted to take this serious. Yesterday I made that upgrade. I'll admit, moving from point and shoot to dslr is a little intimidating. I was really comfortable with my user friendly point and shoot and now I have this seemingly complicated "professional" camera. So what do you do when you get a brand new camera and don't know shit about apeture, shutter speed, etc?? You put it on "auto" mode and just flick away. Last night we took a few test shots at our favorite bar, Lounge of Three. The best place for hip hop and beer. "The Cheers of U. St."
