No Common Emcee.."At the Mountain Top, still gotta Dream"

A nightmare of an emcee on the song "Sweet" what an oxymoron right? Equally as charismatic and empowering on the intro cut "The Dreamer" featuring the all too talented and iconic Dr. Maya Angelou. Common certainly landed a buzzer beater before 2011 expired, inspired by a cherished hope, ambition and aspiration.

This is the most I've heard Common relaxed on wax and maybe it's due to his versatility to express himself i.e. author, actor, emcee. Common is always going to give you a song of praise and hope in relationships(Cloth); classic battle rap cut (Sweet); something futuristic (Blue Sky).

Please believe this is a real rap vet speaking here, from Can I borrow a Dollar to Electric Circus(love that album) and beyond Common delivers some of his hardest hitting lines on "The Believer". This song is what the Sovereign Space is, it's who we are as consumers, as working class folk. I love it!!!!!!!!

Pops' rap sends me running through a brick wall every time "see you next life tiiime", Pops has such a love for, a vision back in time, and I'll take that retroactive street corner in the winter rap anytime. "We inherit the power to turn nightmares into dreams".

I believe in the sovereign space before and after The Dreamer/The Believer, this album is really a piece of our soundtrack as a collective. We spoke about putting together a site to touch the people as we are one of you, we dream, we vision, we believe!!!!

Love for the people yall..
