The Doors - She Smells So Nice
Long before bands like The Black Keys performed on Saturday Night Live or sold out arenas in 15 minutes, The Doors pioneered the modern Blues Rock sound. Their story is widely known and their catalog is thorough. In fact, somewhere in the dusty attic where my mother keeps all our old photos and memories, there's a photo of a 12 year old Shep standing next to Jim Morrison's grave in Paris. I didn't know how important that photo was then but I definitely understand its significance now. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of their L.A. Woman album, an unreleased track from that album was released on their facebook page. Pretty cool stuff if you ask me. Check it out.
