Shep's Top 5 - Top Down.
Ok, so I don't have a convertible, neither do I want one. I'll take the practicality and better gas mileage of my Honda Accord anyday. But with Spring sneaking its way in, I like to roll the windows down, open the sunroof and play my music at obnoxious levels like I'm not a 32 year old man with a lot to lose. Here's a peek at 5 songs that accompany me...
UGK - Wood Wheel
"Smoke something bitch!" This is a classic and whenever the weather gets appropriate, this is the first song I turn to.
D'Angelo - Devil's Pie (Knxwledge Remix)
Actually the entire Voodoo album usually makes its way into the rotation during the Spring and Summer months, but just a few days ago I found a remix that I have playing alot lately. Good shit.
Pharrell - Frontin
This is another classic. I can never get tired of hearing this song. This is Pharrell and Hov at their finest.
Jet Life - First Place
Ok, Curren$y is the hardest working rapper in the game. Find another rapper that has released as much QUALITY music as him in the past 3 years. He's in my top 5 current favorite rappers. Curren$y and crew won't except 2nd place.
Cocaine 80's x Common - Six ft. over
Common is still getting serious burn. This wasn't included on The Dreamer/The Believer but it still has the same vibe. Dope song nonetheless.
