Covers can be a touchy subject among artists. Hell, look at what happened between Pete Rock and Lupe this week over the TROY sample. Either way, if done in good taste, a good cover can bring new life to an old song. Here's my top 5 starting with Yuna's cover of Nirvana's "Come As You Are'"

Quadron - "Baby Be Mine"

Usually, I don't like people messing with Michael's shit but CoCo does Mike justice with this remake of "Baby Be Mine". Slowing down the tempo was a great ide. Dedicates this one to your boo. 

Jesse Boykins III - "Prototype" and "Limit To Your Love"

  Let's be real. Jamaal's hatred for Jesse Boykins' hair probably stems from the fact that Jamaal can no longer grow hair. And besides, it's not like Jesse's hair looks like this. Or this. But as I have said before, say what you want about his hair but there is no denying his talent. These two covers are example of that.
