The Roots' Picnic (Philly) Recap...

Indeed The Sovereign Space Crew enjoyed a mellow ride from Charm City to the "Two-one-fifth" for The Legendary Roots, 5th Annual Roots Picnic. The Roots continue to be a major part of the body of music as they expand from the rock and humus of entertainment. Binding musical talents from all over such as Tune-Yards, Quadron, Chill Moody and Danny Brown just to name a few.


Recent vets included wale, kid cudi, & major laser from the UK. A very fitting salute was presented by The Roots bringing the spirit of Ad-Rock a.k.a King Ad-Rock to life as they rode in on the horse named "Paul Revere". Special guest included one Dante Smith a.k.a Yasiin-Bey(thanx for doing double trouble with black thought!!)


Special-Special shout out to Hip Hop Royalty De La Soul, if you haven't seen these brothas in action, you're missing pioneers of a golden era, point blizank!!
