Viln Collective...

Charleston, SC has come a long way. The city is constantly changing and the signs are beginning to point in a positive direction. On a recent trip back home, Jamaal and I stumbled upon a quiet boutique on historic King Street. Viln Collective is a skate-influenced upscale Men & Women's boutique with clothing, shoes, accessories, & hard goods. Viln isn't the first of its kind, but owner Drod Blackwell has carved himself a niche in the ever changing fashion scene in Charleston and intends to stay there for a long time. This may not seem like a big deal to many, but for a city where the average residents daily uniform consists of Girbaud Jeans and Willie D's (Nike Air Force 1's), it's very refreshing to see an alternative being offered.
