About a year ago, on a random Saturday(well...not too random, it was Howard University's Homecoming), we had our first interview for the site. That day we spoke with Howard Jean...who happens to be an old college buddy of mine. Being that we started The Sovereign Space on the premise of profiling images of independence(fashion,music, social activism, etc.) I thought it would be a great idea to "start at home".
