Hate him or love him but you gotta respect Jay. By now, you've seen the ad and you're probably already sick of all the hype surrounding his latest project. It's set to be released to Samsung Galaxy users on Independence Day and of course it will be pirated for the rest of the world to hear shortly after its release. It's groundbreaking move by Hov, and as the world waits, I'd figure I'd share a few quick thoughts...
1. Remember that pic he took with Raekwon recently?? I'm praying to the Rap Gods something from that night appears on MCHG.
2. The song featuring Frank Ocean will probably be my favorite. And in contrast, the song with Beyonce will probably be my least favorite. Remember Hollywood?
3. I'm predicting at least 15 references to Blue Ivy or maybe even a guest appearance from BIC herself. She's already got one song under her belt.
4. Am I the only one that thinks Hov tries a little too hard to explain the "layers" to his music? I mean, c'mon son, how many times do we have to hear you talk about the "duality" in your rhymes. You've already proven yourself, stop reaching.
5. Pharrell has been on a fire lately, his contribution to this album will be dope as shit.
