...finally got a chance to see L.A. Though this was not my first trip to Cali, It was my first time in SoCal(Malibu & Los Angeles). This track out was more than leisure, for I attended a wedding(in Malibu), ate at Roscoe's, got a haircut by Diddy and Usher's West Coast barber, saw the Capitol Records building, drove past Amoeba, and most importantly, got the chance to meet some new friends and family. Traveling never gets old and having the opportunity to build with the unkown(s), and discover with the known(s), always permits long lasting memories and experiences that re-shape or fine-tune our/your ambitions and dreams.
My observation and/or fruit ions:
I can see why there is such thing as a "West Coast attitude" vs everywhere else.
LA is DEFINITELY the land of opportunity.
Could I live there?...absolutely!!
My brain has yet to understand how one can be in the desert...and the beach...in the same day.
I had fun.
It doesn't "look real" out there.
I knew more streets and neighborhoods from past hip hop and other pop culture outlets.
In summation, I had a blast. I met cool people. I've adopted a family. And I had the humbling privilege to attend one of the greatest weddings in my short lifetime.
