Southern Hospitality - Brittany Bosco - Pacer EP

Brittany BOSCO gets it. She's an artist. The Savannah native is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, one of the premier design schools in the nation. Her Spectrum 2.0 album, which was released 2 years ago, still finds it way into rotation time and time again. Yesterday, she released her follow up, the Pacer EP. Much like Spectrum 2.0, her latest release is visually stunning as well as daring musically. To accompany the EP is an eleven page flipbook as well as a 2 min short entitled "Baby". But visuals aside, Pacer is a change of course for BOSCO. The blues, soul and funk found on Spectrum 2.0 are left behind as the Savannah native adopts a new ambient, spacey sound. BOSCO seems to be at home in either setting and that's a testament to an artist' true versatility. Below is my favorite from her latest release, as well as "It Was You", a standout track from Spectrum 2.0.
