Casey Veggies is easily one of my favorite rappers out right now. Between him and Joey Bada$$, I feel assured that this younger generation does actually have some talent. On January 22, Casey is set to release his most recent project, Life Changes. From the leaks he's released in the past 6 months this mixtape sounds very promising. Yes, I watch a show called Girls. No, it's not porn. And yes, even though it's not porn, I am still very excited for the second season. Is hipster comedy a genre yet? If so, then include Girls in the genre. This is easily one of the most cleverly written shows I've seen in a while. The second season starts tonight and you better tune in to HBO at 9pm to watch one of the best shows on television.
I like the Local Natives. They are a perfectly balanced band. Not overbearing pop and not too obnoxiously indie. Anyway, their latest project, Hummingbird, drops January 29th. Make sure you pick it up.
