Jamaal's Top 5 videos of 2012...

Mofos are lazy as hell nowadays. It seems as if people are leaning towards making reading obsolete due to attention spans. Now that I've got that off my chest, here are my (juxtaposed) Top 5 videos of 2012. Don't look for any cohesiveness, my mind doesn't work like that. What I can say is, the listed videos are the ones I managed to play EVERYDAY over the course of a year(I'm weird like that). For whatever reason, they (videos) resonated with me enough to keep my attention, when most things around me bored the shit out of me.

Flying Lotus had, by far, the best promo for an album. That's it...no flowery desriptive language nor any snobby know-it-all references.




I was blown away the first time I heard the Alabama Shakes. This song/video was the reason.
Sooooooo.....yeah....I have a huge crush on Jean Grae. Aside from my mannish behavior, Janius came up with a pretty dope video. Obviously, she's a nice emcee, but she also edited this video...all rapper beware of true creativity.
<  Inspirational...is the only adjective to sum up "Last Minute with Oden". So much, that we are (on the hush) working on(and have been for a few months)working on our 1st short film...topic...Anxiety. Everything about this video is a "yes". The subject. The visuals. The emotion. The editing. Basically....perfect.
